One land mine after another in every task I've tried to do today, thank god for caffeine.

Yeah, I'm biting my tongue right now -- have Pseudo Boss here for 2 more days - waiting for Real Boss to come back from maternity leave, so she's racing around trying to do some reports she doesn't know about - and I'm the numbers person.

With every question I answer, percentage given, total number ... comes a new e-mail with yet another request for another trivial number - and then ensuing e-mails asking more about what the number actually is.

Not to mention the air conditioning in this building died again - and I'm on the top[ 5th floor where the middle of the floor opens to a glassed skyroof and the sun is just streeeeeeeaming in.

Definitely feel like the exploding head guy right now. Just crawled out of bed for the first time since emergency surgery on Monday. Boss is pissed, clients are pissed, even my wife is pissed because I'm not pulling my share right now. I've got hours of work ahead of me and all I want to do is crash on the floor right now.:crash:

I'm cool today. Just gooooooooooooooing with the floooooooooooooow. I can't be any happier than I am today. Great family, great friends, great job, I'm healthy, I love my bikes. I've seen what bad times are and my "average" life is what I'm content with. :)

Things could be greater but they can be way, way worse. Why ask for greater when the hear and now is good enough? ;)
