On my latest ride I had my HRM cut in and out a fair bit on my Powertap. When reviewing my data I noticed the big gaps and I'm wondering, will no heart rate reading lower TSS significantly or is TSS simply calculated where both HR and Power are present?

TSS depends only on power, not heart rate.

One thing is what happens when you are cross-training? How do you figure out TSB if you can't get TSS from running?
