Hello. I have a question regarding this bike value. A co-worker wants to sell, and has no idea how much. I'm pretty sure it's a 92 or 93, as it has the Suntour components. Looks mostly stock, but not rear rim for sure. Hasn't had the best of care, and needs a new cassette, middle ring, chain, and rear tire, from a quick once over. Seems solid otherwise. Any ideas? Or, should i skip it?
Thanks,
Jd

Is that the full-suspension C'dale? If so, my opinion is that it isn't worth squat as a daily ride since the rear design is archaic. It was also the first or second year of the Headshok so the front suspension isn't anything to write home about. If you are in to collecting stuff it might be a good piece of history (early FS, blah, blah, blah).

+1 to pass on it. Not taken care of, components way outdated, shock technology improved 1000% since early 1990s. All that bike will do is make you want to buy something newer, which is to say that you will have spent a couple hundred on a bike that you kept for only a few months. You're better off getting a Specialized Hardrock, Trek 4500 or the like. Not FS, but it will hold up for a while. If you decide you need FS later, you still got a good hardtail.
