Why is it that I always end up spending more when I buy bike stuff?
I did my research for an all-around set of wheels and from what I've read here and heard, almost everybody agreed that I couldn't go wrong with a Dura Ace/Open Pro combo. Well, did some more reading on here and ran across Chris King/Open Pro as a better combo. When I called Colorado Cyclist to place my order for the Dura Ace/Open Pro, I couldn't resist the temptation of asking the tech about the King/Open Pro combo and he said that he rides the King/Open Pro and loves them. Went on about the technology, blah, blah, blah (all the stuff that I love to hear).
Anyway, to make a story short, I'm broke down and orded the King/Open Pro combo (I'm so weak). It's more that what I budgeted for, but from what I hear, they're the best bang for the buck for their price.
Can't wait to get me hands on them!
