Training & Nutrition - Cant find Gatorade powder mix anywhere?

Whats up with no more stocking of Gatorade mix at Walmart or Target? All Im finding is the bottles of pre-mixed. Im not spending the funds on the pre made stuff, to expensive. Is any other Gatorade mix users finding this as well?

Sure, gatorade provide cheap and not to bad tasting drinks...

Do you know Maltodextrin? It's the Idel complex., slow absorbed suger that taste nothing. It's cheap but hard to disolve. Use hot water. You can find it at "do your own wine and beer" store. It's of better quality tha th dextrose used in gatorade.

There are no sodium and potassium, but you can add you own potassium chloride and sodium afterward. For big race or events, I make myself 18L of the mix, that cost me about 6$ Can.

Over here I can get it at Albertsons.. Ralphs.. Stater Brothers.. Best place I have found is Smart and Final, I can get the big can of Red which makes 6 Gallons for $7 or the 9 Gallon Lemon-Lime for $9..

Try Home Depot, where the water barrels are sold. I bet you find some. best -

You can substitute this for Gatorade:

2-3 fingers of Orange juice in the bottom of a 20oz sport bottle, add water to fill bottle and a pinch of table salt.

I stopped buying Gatorade a long time ago.

Try a wholesale outlet like Sam's Club, Costco or BJs. The local Wal-Mart stocks it, but I've found better selections at the wholesale clubs.
