General Cycling Discussion - Every Second Counts by Lance...

....Armstrong. A new book due out Oct. 7. Has anyone read the first chapter that's available HERE (http://lancearmstrong.com/lance/online2.nsf/html/chapter1) ? Just wondering what you thought about it? I haven't read any of his previous work, but I do have a book on request from the library.

I read it and really enjoyed it. It is a fairly easy read but I have enjoyed how the emphasis on the book (at least that first chap.) is about not just living, but living with style! :p

Hope you liked it! If you liked "It's Not About The Bike" I'm sure you'll like this. So far seems to have the same feel about it.

The "It's Not About The Book" one was excellent. One of if not the best book i have ever read.

Good enjoyable read.

Whoa!

The first book was an entertaining read- I enjoyed reading it and learning more about the man behind the bike. However, I've read hundreds, if not thousands of books, so I wouldn't call it great writing. Good yes, but great? It was ok...

This current book looks a little less entertaining, but still an enjoyable read. I wouldn't mind borrowing it from someone someday (hint hint for those who get the book). I agree with KennethToronto- a good enjoyable read.

I'm still trying to piece together the point of book 2.... it wasn't really clear from reading it, which is probably why I don't feel very connected to it right now either.

It will probably thrill Lance fans and T de F fans to no end, though. Viva la Lance!
