Bicycle Mechanics - Repairing an aluminum frame

Does anyone have information on where I can get an aluminum frame repaired ? I suffered a crash a couple of days ago and the top tube of my bicycle was badly dented. Other than that the frame seems fine. Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell, the frame is still straight. I inspected it after I got home. The dent happened when another bike fell on my bike.

I'd get in touch with the manufacturer/importer. I don't think you can get a mandrel into the top tube to "iron out" the dent which would be the simplest repair method.

Most frame builders can't repair an Al frame and the repair would be very expensive if you find one that will. Repairs would require cutting out the old tube, welding in a new one, heat treating the frame (that's the most difficult part) and repainting.

The "factory" is your best bet. Some brands have a crash-replacement policy where they will sell you a new frame at lower cost. I believe Cannondale is one but there are others.
