Is anybody planning on riding down to summerfest? Has anybody ridden down in the past? Just wondering what the situation is at the bike parking area.

There's a designated bike area with attendants. IIRC, it's located near the main entrance to Summerfest. You lock your bike up, sign a thing, and you have to go back and talk to them before you can take your bike out of the lot. This was a few years ago, and I don't know if it's changed.

It's actually really nice.

Well I parked down at the bike lot last night. It was nice, and free. My only problem was that the ladies working the gate said they'd be there until 12:30, and they were gone when I got there at 12:15. I don't think most people even know the lot is there, but it's probably a good idea to ride the beater anyway. Pretty fun ride home, too.

It would have been nice if they had put some benches and trees in. Looks like it'll become a seagull breeding ground
