Ive never taken a picture of mine. I keep it stock, so I just show people the pics
from the Bianchi website if they want to know what my bike looks like.

Love it. I want it off this bike and replaced with Italian love, but the stem is the best pop-top ever. Looks cool too.

Pista Owners,
How well do these bike upgrade and how are they off the showroom floor? I have been toying with the idea of purchasing the pista my LBS has had for the last year and a half. I was going to upgrade my nishiki but I am considering leaving it a single speed beater and picking up the pista instead as my show/project/first fixed gear bike.

I wrote that post at like 3:30 am or something the show bike thing was because I honestly couldn't think of another thing to describe my reasons for purchase and that new Tanqueray Rangpur gin is awesome. Should I buy a pista instead of investing money in my nishiki?

This is my girlfriend's Pista -- the majority of it was a more than generous gift from a fellow board member. I'm sure she will chime in when she sees this :)

frame's not amazing, but perfectly fine. components suck.

Kyle!,
He's an extra on of the guys that dies in a fireball.

Humancongreel, The bottom bracket on my nishiki is real low like toe scraping low so I can either buy a new fixed wheelset and shorter crank arms or for $100 more the pista. I will also most likely be upgrading the components. Should I do that or look to build up an iro, surly, pake, moth etc?

My whip is holding up OK. I'm pretty hard on it. I ride the skatepark some, and when I'm on the street I ride it like a BMX bike. I will destroy the wheels very soon, I'm sure. My spindle is a little bent from stair gaps and bunny hopping.

I got an offer I couldn't refuse (200 w/ miche cranks and everything but wheels) so I bit and it has been holding up quite nicely
