Introductions - Hi to everyone

I just joined this week. I live in Arizona, and have been cycling regularly since 1983. I am primariliy a roadie, but I do have an mtb.

I ride a Trek 1500, and have cycled about 5000 miles in the past 12 months.

Keep hydrated then! Wear sunscreen, and remember it's easier to cycle when the sun goes down and it cools off.

I don't think I could handle living in Phoenix :( . Way too hot for me...

We ride early in the summer...leaving by 6 am. I dont mind the heat so much :)

our club rode 50 miles yesterday. Nice right with some climbing. We were done by 10:15, before it got too warm. I rode a few extra miles for 66.5 total.

You have me beat there! I just finished a 31 mile ride with some other riders, one of whom was on only her fifth or sixth ride! She was a real trooper though, and even though she confessed that the last two hills were getting her tired, she pulled through in excellent shape :) .

I don't think she would have gone for another loop around to make it 62 miles :D .

I only rode 20 miles today. Got an early start at 5:20, when the temp was only 78. My time was decent, 1:02, which includes the time at stoplights. I am not sure if I will ever ride that route in :59 minutes or less.
