Say I had a 36h, 130mm Phil Wood high flange track hub.
Let's also say I had it laced 3x to a dyad rim with double butted spokes with no dish.
Let us further speculate that in addition to its 160 lb rider, it had close to 40 pounds of gear hanging right over it.
How do you hypothesize this setup will hold? Do you think the wheel is good for 10,000 miles, or will it fail miserably at the inevitable "most inopportune time possible", 1000 miles down the road?
This setup has already worked out well for overnights and long weekends, but no multiweek trips yet. Trying for the usual durability/strength/minimal maintenance, while maintaining my love for the fixed/ss drivetrain.
Thoughts?
