Texas - RBM Saturday Rides

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Do they run both the 8am and 9am rides this time of year?
Day light savings always confuses me, and it's not clear if the 8am rides take the place of the 9am rides.
I guess I could just call them...
Yes, during the summer months (when daylight savings time in going on) they have 8am rides. I will likely be doing the 27/36mi route tomorrow @8am.
Do they also have 9am rides? I'm kinda moringingly challenged.
Eh, I'll probably just show up for 8 for the 36 route.
Yes, they have both. If you show up for the 8am ride, look for me on my Flyte SRS-3. The groups are usually pretty small so I should be easy to spot. Might grab my BF's jersey to make it easier yet!

I may be at RBM for the 8:05 or the 8:10 ride. It depends on how I feel in the morning.
Just got home from the RBM 8:10 36mi ride. I made out with a total of just over 40mi @ 18.2mph avg with my short warmup / cool down to and from RBM from my apartment.

I woke up at the crack of dawn and decided to do the PBA OAS Lite ride at 7:00. Ended up with 65 miles for the day. I haven't looked at my ride stats so I don't know what the the AVG or Max speeds were.
I'm doing a REAL recovery ride tomorrow morning at 7:00AM if anyone is interested. I'll be doing this ride rain or shine. I'm meeting my buddy over by the Velodrome.
Kevin - distance and pace? I want to get the Gazelle out for some miles but unless I get around to swapping freewheels I'm going to be slow going on any hills as I'll have a 42/24 climbing gear.

I will probably ride from my house and end up with ~45 miles. From my friend's house in Frisco it's about 27 mile loop. The pace will be 15-16 MPH doing the Windhaven loop. We had two new riders with us last Sunday and they had no problem with the pace. I stressed my muscles today and am not looking to stress them again tomorrow.
Kevin, shoot me an address. Not sure if I can get myself out of bed early enough to get up there at 7am, but I'll give it a go. And I'd CERTAINLY need to swap freewheels if I am going to Windhaven!

We could meet you at the Velodrome: 9700 Wade Blvd, Frisco Texas 75024. If you do make it, park closer to the street (Wade) so we can see you. We should be passing that location around 7:05-7:10. We will be leaving promptly at 7:00AM because Al is leaving to go out of town at noon. You could do Windhaven in a 42/24 but it would be a bit painful:D
I will PM you my phone number in case you are running late.
I ended up sleeping in and going to the 9am 36mile ride. The extra sleep was worth it.
