I hope someone may be able to tell me what I have. I bought a frame in the mid 80's when I was a kid. It is a Coste (cicli Pistoia). It says its made in Italy and is Columbus Aelle tubing. It also says record on it. I assume as in Campagnolo record. A friend was wanting to barter with me for it and I was wondering what it may be worth. It has some Campagnolo parts- headset, seat post. Shimano 600 SIS derailleurs and cranks. Dia Compe royal gran compe aero brakes. Campy hubs with Weinmann concave rims. I'm especially interested in the frame as I remember paying quite a bit for it as a kid. Any info would be great, I've had no luck on finding anything about the frame by googling it. Thanks for your time.

If the "Record" sticker is on a tube, it's probably referring to Columbus Record, a level of tubing offerred back in the day. And while I know nothing about this particular level of tubing, I do know that Aelle was a mid level offerring back then - below SLX, SL, SP, and maybe some others.

Just an observation: Pistoia is a town in Tuscany. So the name might be better translated as "Coste Bikes, Pistoia".
