Fifty Plus (50+) - Another trip to the LBS

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just off to my LBS so what colour?
I already have a lot of Blue- Don't want white or Red.
No Prizes so just keep you guessing-
Don't even know what it is going to be yet myself but I ordered it and all I have to do is pay for it.

My vote: A nice warm color like orange or maybe copperish.
I like my gray, because it will go with anything, just saying.
When I read the title, I thought you were buying another bike.

Could be. If so, DG will probably vote for white, even if it's off the table--since white is the new black.

Jet nearly wins.
Closest with the copper colour.
Weight-15lbs3ozs
Crankset will be Truvativ compact with 165mm cranks (Currently a standard double is fitted.)
Wheelset Ultegra 6600
Gear train is a mixture of 105 and ultegra (Due to special deals and what I want)
Pedals will be Shimano A520's so none of this Poncy white shoe stuff for me
Aluminium frame
C.F. Forks and steerer
C.F. Micro adjust seat stem
Cost--Retail on this bike as set up is £2,350. I will get a discount but this is a hell of a bike for the money.
Ready next week
That trip to France convinved me that I should get a better bike. The Giant OCR has done me well but I knew it was always going to be a starter road bike, Either I would like to be a roadie or I would be getting a better Offroad bike.
Hey stapfam, that is a very pretty bike, but I was looking for a steel one, and when I saw that Serotta on another post, I think I found the one I want, or to wish for anyhow. I glad for you, that you are getting the one you like, good luck.

If by chance that bike doesn't work out for you, PM me. I'd like an excuse to visit the UK again. :)
