I've read many posts about compact geometry and was wondering if anyone noticed any of the TdF riders on the smaller frames?

I haven't seen a one... but then I'm not getting OLN either.

I was thinking the same thing last night as I watched the tour. Seems like half were on compacts last year. This year it seems there are very few riders on compact frames. I've seen a few but not nearly as many as last year.

Once are riding Giant TCR-100 and that is a compact
design. One of the frenc teams (Brioche maybe?) is riding
a Scott USA compact frame.
The really weird one is the Cannondale that Simoni has,
its missing most of its aluminium, its an Carbon Fibre bike
ala Serotta Ottrott or Merlin Cielo
