Road Cycling - Taking my bike to Europe but want to go cheap. Help.

I'm leaving my present life and starting with a 10 week trip on my bike through Europe. Thought it would be easier to find other riders/groups to join but all I'm finding on the web are "touring" groups that cycle about 20 miles a day and stay in castles, etc. Way too expensive and not enough riding. Can anyone suggest some options?- all I want is some company and someone to lug my stuff. Want to leave end of August.

you may want to have a look in the touring section of the forums. koffee brown has a journal of some of her cycling adventures in europe, makes for a good read, and may give you some ideas. also might be worth reposting your question there. good luck sounds like a fun trip :)

You may want to find a touring company and sign up as they can make all the accomodations for you. Much easier than doing it yourself.

there are companies here that will make all your accomidations ready for you. just a question, where do you plan on passing though? id love to tag along and go to a few other countries but its really not in my best interest.
