Greetings all,
I was excited to find this forum in searching for biking info. I live in Chattanooga where we have so many biking opportunities and have friends who ride on our Tennessee riverwalk. I just started looking at bikes and plan on getting a hybrid for now and perhaps a dedicated mountain bike later. For now I want to ride for pleasure and fitness (running is getting to my old mans knees). I will post on another forum ( on this site) as to recommendations needed. My price range is $400 to $1000 and currently am looking at Gary Fisher, Trek, and Cannondale for hybrid bikes. Any suggestions appreciated and hope to communicate with other riders from Chattanooga.
