Had a guy do a front flip spinning leg kick into my arm today. Cleaned it right off the bar. Fortunately I was half guard on another guy at the time dodging flying bicycles and stayed upright. I think Der Cypress might be on to something with the cross training thing.

Don't think it was one of our guys. Unless Larry's racing the 55's. We were awash in mediocrity this weekend, we'll try to do better on the 4th.

any fremont writeups?? that was my teams race and I would love to read some of your guys writeups and general thoughts on the race =o)

open to constructive critisism

unfortunalty I was sidelined with a broken collarbone from the "Dash for Cash" crit 3 weeks earlier =o(

looked like the wind was playing havoc out there on a few corners =oP

I did a three hour climbing/training ride up here instead then did Vacaville Sunday. It was the perfect prep...soften up the legs to protect the drive train from any discernible wattage.

I raced it and had a great time. I'm not a crit rider (I suck at them) but I had fun at this one. The 180 degree hairpin turn right after the start/finish was a fantastic idea. It made for a technical and exciting race. I actually lasted a lot longer than a thought I would in spite of that thing. I hope you guys keep that turn in there...
