I was in my lowest: 34/27. It really wasn't as steep as it looked.

I would have hit my LT prolly half way up and have to crawl back home. I wasn't having a good day on the bike yesturday. I found myself in the forbidden gear more then I liked.

yesterday was great except for the last hill on 395. that heat was just cruel and unusual punishment. they seriously need to line that section of road with large fans and misting devices.

i think i spent about 90% of the day in the lowest gear....paul...more props to ya for climbing that freakin hill...that think looked wicked...it was fun....i really wanted to lay down in that poo sprinkler....i am still not feeling right...i did not ride today...i need to but we are packing all day...and i drove into work for about 1 hour today. The thing that sucks is now i won't be on the bike for like 2 weeks...might have to join a gym up there or something.
Speaking of the hill on 395...you guys should have been with me...i got so angry when i came around that left and saw that i was like half way up...i was pulling on the bars, doing little wheelies...screamin...F*&K, F(*K, F&^K!!!!!!!
then i settled down and freakshow (Ben) towed me home at about 20ish, pretty sure ...i really hate him...but it's good to ride with him!! i could tell he had ALLOT more in him...but he's such a good sport about my misery!
