Been out of cycling for a few years but feel the need to get back in the saddle.

Hello jsmil4901, there are a lot of people who feel that way! What kind of riding do you do? Check the regional forums for Northern California--there's lots of Bay Area folks here. Possibly even one next door to you, who knows?

Welcome to BF!

Thanks East Hill, I will be a casual road rider in the SF Bay Area. Years ago I used to race my mountain bike and train seriously but now I want to ride and enjoy the area I live in. There are some great places to ride just out my front door so I'm looking forward to hopping on my bike and cruising around, stop have a coffee, maybe a little wine tasting etc.

I know what you mean--I used to live just off Los Gatos-Almaden, and we used to drive Kennedy and Shannon Roads on nice Sundays. To think that I could have ridden a bike instead, and really enjoyed myself...oh well...
