HI Guys,
:D :D :D
I am a middle-aged (51) biker from Atlanta, Georgia who just loves anything w/2 wheels. I have been riding about 10 years. After a couple of setbacks, I am riding hard again. Since I own my own homebuilding business, I can't devote as much time to my fitness as I would like. I am well read and study everything I can about fitness, equipment and the history of our sport. I am the detail guy.
If you can't beat them w/youth and strength, use stealth and cunning. One set of wheels I have doesn't click when coasting, I love it when the guys can't tell when I'm sitting on their wheel comfortably.

Cycling is my fountain of youth. I usually ride with my personal trainer friend (38) and some other guys that can stomp him. I love the competition. I ride my mountain bike in the winter and when I have time. I ride my other bikes all year, but only in good weather. I am a fair weather biker. Since I build my bikes and maintain all my friends bikes, I know what water and grit do to a good road bike.

Today I have a Litespeed Vortex (9 spd dura-ace), Aegis Victory (10 spd Record), Kuota Kredo (10 spd dura-ace), Cannondale Rush (SRAM XO), and a Burley Tandem. I am allways shopping for parts and bike deals because I love everything about the sport.

I likethe idea of a forum that brings us together to talk about everything biking. It's a passion that I hope to keep for years to come.

Hello Donegal--that's a nice collection of bikes you've got there! Is that you in your avatar?

There's quite a few Bike Forums members in your area, including RonH, one of the moderators here! Don't forget to check into the regional forums and introduce yourself there as well!

Welcome to BF!

Hi Donegal and welcome to BF.
Nice collection of bikes.

Visit the Southeast Regional subforum (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=234) and introduce yourself to the Atl locals in the "Atlanta/Decatur" (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=234331) thread.

BTW: the "old" part in your intro doesn't work here. ;) I'm 62 and I'm not old.
