They came to us Friday night. Their mommy fell on hard times and can't keep them in her current situation. In the mean time, we get to love them untill she gets back on her feet,

Aren't they adorable?!?!

You might want to keep them away from the "cat" thread.

How old are they Stacey? And how long do you get to keep them?

I love rats. If my wife and kids weren't so unreasonably fearful, I would have some now. Of course, they have Guinea pigs and a hamster, still rodents:rolleyes:  . I taught two male rats I had years ago to do tricks. Rats are very smart and social. And how beautiful is a blue rat? wow.

Actually, Guinea Pigs are South American Rats from the Andes Mountains and Hamsters are rats as well, but from the Middle East and SE Europe!:D

The two agouti hooded ones are over a year old. The black & buff hooded are probably about six months old.

I don't know how long they'll be with us. Their mommy needs to find a place to live. It might be for two weeks, two months or forever. We don't really know. In the meantime we're just going to love and spoil them and hope they can be reunited with their mommy some day.

Another pic. :)
