I was given a bike and had to replace the rear wheel tube, but now when I put it back on and tighten everything up. As soon as i pedal the chain will spin once and then pop off the rear gear. Don't really know whats wrong I've never worked on a bike before.

The chain is either too long or just isn't tight enough. How old are you?

I'm 26...Iknow it's bad that a 26 year old doesn't know how to fix a bike....

No, you just aren't familiar with bikes. You'll pick it up quickly. It's super easy to fix a lot of things on a BMX bike.

It wasn't that... it was your terminology, spelling, and grammar.

meaning I don't sound like a teenager, or that I'm not educated in bike lingo

Mostly just the bike lingo, but you will learn.

Is the chain tight when you put it on? If so, it'll be that your sprocket (front, larger cog) is bent
