I'm looking into getting back into riding (mountain bike) after being super absorbed in work and school the last few years. I've got some catching up to do.

Mostly rode single track, never raced, just rode for fun and fitness. I rode a Cannondale, with a Judy SL (am I dating myself?) that needs rebuilding. I'm thinking of building a new bike but I need to do more research first.

For someone who is 6'3" with a 33 inch inseam what would be the correct size frame to start with?

Thanks!!!

Standard answer is--check out the fit at the Local Bike Shop. Bikes can have different fits depending on the purpose of the bike, length of top tube, blah blah.

But, I would tend to think that you would probably start around a 62-64cm bike. My husband is 6'2", with about your same inseam, and his MTB is a 63cm (it's a Trek 4300 MTB, though, so it has a slightly sloping top tube).
