Please celebrate our nation's birthday!!!! Be safe.........
Already been out and rode a 60 miler in my USA jersey. Good to see lots of flags flying in the breeze today.
We took an easy walk (3 miles in 1 hour) and passed a lot of walkers and a lot of flags. It's still early here but already HOT  !

I rode the Firecracker 50 today. I'll post separately about the details. It just seemed right to start off with an organized ride. On my return, I saw the town center had closed off the main streets and had set up booths for all the local businesses and organizations with game for the kids, ice cream. Great fun for young families. Right now, I'm watching the revolutionary war on the History Channel, great stuff.

Congrats on the ride. I like that jersey!!
Our little group set out to do about 33 miles today, and we ended up doing 50. Weather was good for a change.
Happy Birthday everybody:D :D :D :D !!!!!!!
A good 51 mile ride despite the wind and grey skies but not a rain drop. The parks were filled with people for picnic and waiting for tonights firework display. Stars and stripes proudly displayed. Happy 4th of July to all.

I got out and rode my mountain bike for the first time in two months. Accompanying me was my son and son-in-law.
In this photo I'm experiencing bonkitudinal dystrophy and using the last bit of energy I have to pose for the photo.

Here is my son at the same point. He's not quite as tired as I was.

Love the jersey. I saw quite a few red/white/blue jerseys on the Freedom ride this morning. I had mine on:)

Ain't nothin' better than a ride with your son, except for maybe a ride with your daughter which I might do tomorrow. GBA!
