We're about 2 1/2 weeks away and my sprained ankle is still a concern...but I'm going to do the race anyway :) Rose (Mrs. Bruin) & I are heading up on Friday and will be staying in Santa Rosa.

Good Luck, CJ. My coach (Ben Bigglestone) and his wife Cindy are down there for the race. I had thought about doing it, but after some discussion decided I would do Troika (a 1/2 IM) over in Spokane, WA as my last big workout before tapering for IMC.

Thanks Bud! Rose, Fletch, & I are just about to hit the road for the seven hour drive. My back and ankle are still bothering me so I may end up doing Swim-Bike-Wine Taste. We'll see...I'm very stubborn and DNF is not really in my vocabulary but I also don't want to risk a longer term injury. It's not like I'm going for a Kona slot or anything :)
