When it comes to regular shoes I wear a 9 1/2 W. But road shoes don't seem to be available in wide sizes. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a specific brand that fits wide-sizes better?

Thanks!

Sidi.. they have wide and they are called Mega. I recommend sidi's other than my diadoras they have lasted the longest.. and are slowly out lasting the diadoras

Northwave also might be a good choice. Their shoes have very large toeboxes and seem to work well for people with wide feet.

I'll 2nd the Sedi Mega, and through in Shimano's SH-R150B's. (I have a pair of each, and they accommodate my 10½ EE's just fine!);)

Shimano R-150s are great for my wide feet. They're not just comfortable as road shoes, but the most comfortable shoes that I can remember. But I don't wear shoes much; sandals or barefoot for me. BTW, for my 9 1/2 wide feet, the 44.5s in the Shimanos work great.

I would like to try the SIDI Mega, but no store in my area ever has a pair to try on, even though SIDI seems to dominate the market.

I just bought a pair of Exus cycling shoes for my big, wide feet and they are nice and comfortable, more so then my Diadoras. This shoe is more for touring/commuting and is not as garish as most cycling shoes. I have had two pairs of Exus cycling shoes in the past and the soul separated, so I am hoping for better luck with these!

Carnac are a bit wide for me.....might be what you're looking for. I normally find Italian shoes are cut on the snug side. People with funny shaped feet must be rueing the demise of leather lace-up styles, with the amount of stretch and adjustability they entail....

AXO seems to make fairly wide shoes.

I got 11 EEE feet just like Bigfoot. If the Sidi Mega line can fit me, they can fit about anyone with wide feet. I have the Sidi Dominator Mega, touring for me means a certan amount of walking where it comes to steep hills. The Dominators are ok for walking, where their road shoe isn't.

Shimano makes a nice wide shoe - I'm loving my R214 carbons!

Lake makes a wide shoe.
I wear size 11 EEE shoes. Once I ordered a size 45 wide and it was TOO wide. Had to exchange it for a 45 regular.
