After a nice long hot ride in the Blistering Florida sun.... stopped in CircleK and picked up the only edible thing I could find:
El Monterey XX Large Belly Buster (http://www.elmonterey.com/mexicanfood/burritos-xxl/spicy-red-hot-beef-bean-burritos.aspx)
Talk about recovery food. I think I'm fueled for a week at least.
750 calories of pure bliss....well at least it seems that way, i want one.

Lots of protein, salt, and carbs. I would want to cool down for half an hour first. Start with a vanilla shake first.
I love 13g of sat.fats :)

I wasn't saying it was what we SHOULD be eating.
Just the fact that they make those things... no wonder people end up 300+ lbs.

I remember bonking on a ride and had to throw up and couldn't stop sweating for half an hour...
And then I ate a burrito (Qdoba-style). Took FOREVER-- I didn't know if the puke burned my throat or the adobo chicken.
It looks nice, but for my recoveries, I look for the trip.
