Foo - Happy Birthday, Trackman!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

10Q
May have to bring along my rain gear
but I may digress to my roots and ride
a track bike.
Take Eddy Merckx out, or Pablo Guerciotti, or Vitus, perhaps the Paris Sport.
G, decisions decisions... lol :roflmao:
Maybe even travel to NYC and race at the Velodrome in Queens.
Thanx for remembering.

Happy Birthday, T-man! :)
It should take you no time at all to ride your years, especially if done while drafting off of your teammates! :D
Hm. Aren't the velodromes in Asheville and Atlanta closer? Or is the one in Queens nostalgic for you?
In any case, !

10q sugarbot, you are a good bud :p
well, been telling everyone 32 years base 16: silly me... just a number anyway.....
I AM NOT A WHEEL SUCKER...
never think much about distances, just ride ..
Asheville is actually quite the distance for me from KDH (Kill Devil Hills ) 450ish miles:
Kissena is where I started and as I am still outside of Washington D.C. Kissena is only three hours north.
Weather report says rain so velodrome racing is out tonight.
Thanks again for the best wishes.

G go figure... Some guys have all the luck.. Only other person/cyclist born on the fifth of July I know gave up cycling when I moved south of the Mason Dixon line. He actually tried to get his birthdate changed to the fourth as he was a Army Brat born overseas in Germany. We used to train together in New Jersey but when it came time to race he said, " I have nothing to prove". Probably still has his bike but I doubt he rides anymore.

My bad, T-Man. thought you were hangin' on the Outer Banks at this time.
In honor of your birthday, today I downloaded Colavita's amateur cyclist membership form. But I don't think I'll do it. No one in my area rides with them. Maybe I'll try HT Naturals.... Or remain unaffiliated, which has worked well so far.
Again, hope your birthday was nice. And, if it's like in my area, lots of fireworks still going off. Moreso than the day/night of the 4th!

I'd translate for you, VV, but I'd get banned for sure.
As for you Trackman, sorry for being late, but a big-time Happy Birthday to you. Let me know how this being eligible for the 50+ forum thing works out, as I'm only trailing you by 6 or 7 weeks. Hey, the 1959ers may try to steal the thunder, but everyone knows that 1957 kids are simply the bee's knees - we just don't have to shout about it. :D

No drama BS. ( i like that version better than the worn out "No worries" ) if it is anything like racing Masters I will probably enjoy it Immensely..
Indeed, 57 was a year of events. Sputnick, Disneyland.
Fred Markham, 1st man to pedal a bike 65 mph born that year as well.
