I've been riding and eating alot healthier and riding everyday since about Christmas. I weighed 253lbs. at Christmas and haven't weighed since. Yesterday (the 4th) I weighed and was 220 exactly! I think that I've finally found an exercise activity that I can stick with. You guys on this site are really an inspiration especially Tom Stormcrowe, what a transformation!
I couldn't wait to post and brag a little.
Take care

Congrats! That's a wonderful accomplishment. :)
First of all Congratulations. Secondly and most importantly "it aint bragin if you earned it". Can't remember who that quote is attributed to, but it certainly applies here.

awesome job, that's may goal for around 17 months. I figure that I put on about 2-3 lbs a month when I started working and it took me about 4 years to notice and stop it so now I'll take 4 years to lose it. :D I was 271 at the start of may and I was 261 at the start of July so I'm slightly ahead of schedule, reading your story makes me feel good!

Thanks guys, I feel great! Just chaniging my diet was change enough, but after cycling I've really taken off. I've let myself slide for far too long, but I finally reached the point of saying enough is enough. Thanks for the positive responses.
