Introductions - Hello! From Kuwait too!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi! I am MpJs. I am 13 and I live in Kuwait. I love cycling and the best part of it is that Kuwait is perfect for cycling. I currently have an old bike treasured from my eldest brother. I have tried to make it a good bike with good quality parts from Shimano (see my Sign). I love RC cars too. My favourite is Traxxas Stampede if you all guys have even heard of it.
Well..that's me! Just ask what do you want to know about me?

Hello MpJs--are you related to Desert Storm? Oops, now that I've looked, apparently not! I don't think we've ever had two people register as members from Kuwait on the same day...I don't even think the same week..perhaps not even in the same month...
What's the treasured bike?
Welcome to BF!

Perhaps it may be a coincidence but I am no way related to him or maybe I know him and he is hiding his identity. I really don't think that I know him.
The treasured bike is an old cheapass bike which I was bought for aroung 200 dollars. It's in tip top condition. I don't think it is branded but anyways one thing I have managed to do is change the parts to branded ones :)!
P.S:- I will post some pics of my bike by tomorrow because the sun has set and there isn't enough lighting to take photos.(I read that natural lighting makes photos look way more cooler!!).

Do you see the Tour de Qatar on television over there?
The Tour de Qatar is a prelude to the Tour de France.
I have heard that Quatar has excellent roads, on account that Qatar is the world's biggest producer of asphalt, is that true?
hotbike I have no idea because I have never seen cycling events on T.V except for some glimpses of Tour De France.
You are a bit confused...Qatar is a city in a country called Oman. Kuwait is a different country so I don't know about other countries.

Sorrry to make you guys waiting. I had gone out for shopping for the past 2 days with my parents and I did't get time to post the pix.
BTW, Here they are:-Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mpjs)
P.S:- tell me if those bike pictures are dark because my monitor has some problems and and everythung looks very dark :(!

I like the anodised stuff, but I agree, the pictures are a bit dark :( .
Your bike sure looks as if it could be fun to ride though. Are you doing mostly off road riding then?

- cool ride! let's see some ride pics on your normal jaunts!
Offroading is not possible because my place doesn't have many places to offroad. the pictures are dark...Well.. As soon I get my monitor fixed I will inform you about the new pix!
I usually drive on road and sometimes I jump off small ramps, do wheelies. I hit max at 30 km/hr!

I agree with linux_author, let's see some photos of your rides. I don't think we've seen any ride photos from Kuwait before.

I like the large speedometer. Easy to read and looks retro cool.
