Foo - Who lives near a place where they do fireworks?

The smoke still hasent risen here. I hate fireworks.

Right in my backyard basically. There's a private golf course who sets them off every July 4th. Makes for a nice show from my backyard, but the explosions rattle the windows and the smell hangs around for a day or two.

You hate fireworks? What is WRONG with you man?

Yes. 1/2 mile away they light off our suburb's fireworks. Smoke has been long gone. It is wonderful being able to sit out on our driveway and watch them rather than travel through 30000 people.

Chicago was a war zone last night. I was on my roof last night watching it from all around. The air was thick with illegal festivities.

Shock and Awe!

The south side of the folks' farm abuts some municipal ball fields. Last year the city held the fireworks at the park, where the people gathered, and fired them off of our top terrace.
Very cool watching the set up, and I got to be in the control tent during the show.

I hate fireworks.

Dude we blew **** UP last night. Forget living near a place that "does" fireworks, like a municipal display.

Nothing EVER trumps making your own show.

Largest in the country, Macy's fireworks display from my window. Awesome as always.

Hudsons fireworks on the Detroit river. I never go watch em. My neighbors and I prefer setting our own off.
