Looking for new LBS in/near Parker, CO
I have not been bowled over with the Treads here in Parker since Katie and Hans left.
However, as far as Parker goes, they are about it. A friend some time back told me about a LBS somewhere near Parker and Orchard or thereabouts.
Does anyone know of this. I have been unsuccessful in finding it on the internet.

The owner died of cancer and it closed. That was Parker Bicycle. The other shop that was open for awhile (Ranch something or other) also closed.

Hiya.
Adventure Cycles is at Parker and Quincy. Good shop. Good guys. They are helpful and have what I need almost every time. They'll dig in the back for the thing you need! Right off of my commute through cherry creek state park too.
I have another great LBS. I think it is called "aurora family bikes" The sign simply says "BIKES." It is at the intersection of Tower and Hampden. NorthEast corner. In the extreme NorthEast corner of the strip mall. It is a new, family owned and run shop. Fair prices, but not a lot of inventory (small shop), he can order anything and is willing to do it. The shop knows that Treads is right down the street, so what Victor offers is quality, personal customer SERVICE. Prices are a bit less than treads. This is the LBS I've been looking for. It is a little out of my commute, but only a couple of extra miles up Hendrick(?) creek trail. (A newly paved MUP). Say, "hiya" to Victor for me! They are closed on Mondays for sure. Open 'till 8 in the evenings these days.
Other shops:
Performance on Arapahoe and 25 never seems to have much in the store for me. great prices on sale items.
Performace on Colorado is bigger, and more helpful. Good sale prices on clothing.
Treads on Illif just wants to sell me a new bike and rarely has what I want. I don't go there anymore even though they too are on my daily bike commute route.

Also, they never seemd to want to bother much with the customers. Thanks for the input. I just took the bike to Treads here, and was sort of shocked at their price for doing some minor work.
