Went for a ride around Moses Lake today, from the alder street fill to the state park. 103 degrees! You wouldnt belive the water I went through, I was panting like a lizzard! Hpw's the weather in your area and at what temp do you pack it in and spend the day with iced tea and old bicycling mags?

Well, the majority of my bike riding is commuting to work. Since I don't have a car and am too cheap to pay for the bus, I just ride slower. :)
It was a beautiful day in PDX today, I went on a 33 mile ride up to and around Sauvie Island.
It was around 2pm by the I got back and wasn't oo hot at all.

Getting off at 4.30 am does have some benefits. Not many, mind you. Fluffy sunny day by the time I got back home, I hid most of the day :) . Didn't get as warm today as yesterday. I need rain.

Mid 80's today when I went for my early afternoon ride. Not real hot but windy, 18-24 from the north. If I had to be somewhere, I would ride in 103° but carry extra water. If it's just for recreation or fitness, I'd go when it was a little cooler.
Pretty nice in Eugene too, high today was upper 80's, it was so nice all morning and into the afternoon. I ride in the mornings mostly, so heat is rarely an issue for me here. I rode a century on the O coast Wednesday, it was 55 degrees when we started at 6:45 am,....nice!

Right now it's 84 in Ashland, the ride to work was beautiful. It's supposed to hit 98, though, so I am going to take it slow on the way home. And, yes, am drinking some awesome solar-brewed iced green tea right now.
