on the eve of the 2007 TDF, i don't sense a lot of excitement....or maybe it's my own ambivalence.

I am, with out a doubt!
I'm devising ways to stay up long enough to see the entire prologue and still get up and ride early tomorrow morning!

Absolutely. I'm getting up early to ride before the prologue.

Totally! I could care less how many riders are kicked out or busted for doping, I watch the tour because I love cycling and this is pretty much the only major cycling event televised on American TV. The DVR is set... I'm recording the whole thing!

I cannot wait .. I am DVR the entire thing, but i am in AZ till monday.. but it will be a blast to watch.. when I get back to CA. . . Sastre is the biggest underdog and nobody is really giving him a chance but if you look at last year he was by far the best in the Mountains. If he's worked on his TT this year I think there is more hop than many think.

Yep, definitely excited, can't let the doping zealots get you down.

It may be partly due to the fact that we had such a chaotic start last year, with the removals just a day before the start...makes this year's start (despite all the doping scandals over the past months) seem slightly less dramatic (I say that as a good thing).
Barloworld rider off the start...time to go!!

Marginally excited. Probably the least excited I have been in over a decade.

It is totally wide open this year and I've been counting the days.
I want to start a new thread poll:

I always get excited about the TdF. It is the only time I use my (gasp!!) VCR to actually RECORD something.
