Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Starting tonight in U.S.! I'm emailing my kid in Japan while I watch. She already watched the season online. I wanted to wait for the big screen. The future is good. Glad I'm here. Won't be over until 11 PM and I have to get up for a 7 AM ride.:(

I watched the season already too....downloaded them each Sunday after they came on Saturday night.
I still watched them on big screen by burning them to CD/DVD and watching them through DVD player on the widescreen. ;)
Warning...I'm not as "hip" on the new companion, but this season has some pretty amazing revelations in episodes.
My daughter had the same comment re the companion. She says the woman from the Christmas special (the bride) is supposed to be the new companion next year. A little long in the tooth, but she's apparently one of the top comedians in the UK. It's all good.

I used to watch it as a teenager way back when they had the curly kinky haired guy who wore scarves a lot and really enjoyed it. I caught a recent episode a couple weeks ago and was suprised by how good the new stuff is.

That's Tom Baker. He's the one most people remember...he did play the doctor for the longest period (about 7 years I think).
I think my favorite was Sylvester McCoy, too bad I didn't get to see enough episodes with him.
