Well tomorrow I'm off to Panorama, BC. I can't wait. For this trip, I bought leg and arm armour along with a full face helmet. But I ride a XC hardtail. I'm gonna feel like such a fool in the terrain park but I don't care. The reason for the full face helmet is so that I can regain my confidence doing drops. (Earlier this year I endo'd off a 3 ft drop onto my face) This is my first Mountain bIke trip and my first for terrain parks. Wish me luck! Hope I don't have to find out how much protection a full face helmet provides.

Panaroma is going to be a mecca ina few years. Definately a great place to ride. Never feel like a fool, people rode panorama on rigids before suspension :D...

Bah, who cares what everyone thinks. There are posers who ride insanely expensive rigs who probably can't do half of what you do on that hardtail.

There are many wannabes who will never even attempt a 3' drop. They are the ones who look like fools. Standing around saying things like, "Naw, thats is to easy for me. Blah, blah, blah...".

There is nothing wrong with wearing protective gear OR riding a ht.

It's how you use it, not how much. Well, that also counts though:D
