Hi all,
Just joining the forums here as I am shopping for a new bike. All my bikes in the past have been low end recreational bikes. I am currently riding a giant boulder shock purchased in Munich sometime in 1999.
I have been riding most of my life but never seriously. I commuted to school by bike through the 80's and through university. I have been car free since 1999 after I moved to Munich, Germany. I now live in Portland, OR and commute every day with my mountain bike.
I am currently shopping for a bike and trying to decide between the Bianchi Axis and the Fuji Cross. The first post I saw in the cyclocross forum was about exactly that decision. I love the site so far.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
