So I'm getting an influx of parts for my new 'cross bike and am about to order the wheelset. I want to use Mavic Ksyrium SLs on a Salsa Las Cruces frameset. Here's the quandry: the Las Cruces has a 135mm rear axle spacing.

I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone at the local shop: can you get Ksyriums with a 135mm axle?

(And for the curious, the plan calls for a Las Cruces with Ksyrium SLs, full Ultegra, and FSA compact carbon crank.)

My best guess would be no, on account of the Ksyrium being a road specific wheel, and the design not really made to space out or change out the axle. you could put it in there, and clamp it tight w/ the QR. only 2.5mm on each side.
