Hey there everybody,

I recently bought a used Rocky Mtn 12 speed road bike. In really good condition, rides really well, and I couldnt pass it up, seeing that it is almost impossible to find one my size for a 6'3 frame.

Anyway, I was in a bike shop the other day, and the two service guys working there were checking my bike out. They were saying that my bike, builit by Bailey (?) is a collector piece. Especially in the good condition it is, and its size (58-60cm).

Anyway, they were saying this thing was worth something. Can anyone tell me anything more about these bikes? Worth anything now?

Hi fellow Victorian!

RMB used have a top notch frame builder back in the late 80's/early 90's maybe that's who they're referring to. That name rings a bell but the memory isn't gelling in my head right now.

Anyway, it'd be a collector's piece in the sense that's it's a desirable bike but I doubt anyone would pay a premium for it. IIRC, Rocky's road bikes were nice but nothing special.
