We've replaced our drive chain (chain in the rear). Now it is time to replace the forward chain.
Anyone know if a normal shimano chain (say a ultegra 9 spd chain) will work? Is it long enough or do we have to purchase two chains to make one?

Why not use a Sachs/sedis 9 speed compatable chain. Better, cheaper, easier to break and fix. Their power-link is also pretty reliable.

Sounds like good advice. Especially considering where it will be installed.
Do you know if a standard length chain is long enough or does it take more?
