The Newflashes on www.letour.com (http://www.letour.com/2003/us/index.html) are a good way to keep up with a tour stage if you can't watch it on TV or hear it broadcast on the internet. Newsflashes are posted constantly as each stage progresses. They provide an on-the-fly description of the race. I'm not sure who types the flashes, but this one, from stage 7, made me laugh.
14 H 37 - Correction...
The television commentator for SBS Television, who broadcast the Tour in Australia, has pointed out an error in a previous flash. There is one rider from Hungary in the Tour (not Hungry - sorry Laszlo!). Michael Tomalaris, the commentator who broke his leg after tripping on cables in the 'zone technique' several years ago (about the only highlight of his nine Tours de France) also points out that its 'Kazakhstan', not Kazakstan. Sorry to anyone who was confused by this typo.
