Hi!

I've been trying to find a pair of high quality cycling/running sunglasses for quite some time. Sadly, every pair I've tried on is WAY too big for my head :( . Honestly, my head is so teeny that I usually have a lot of trouble finding frames for my prescription glasses at the eye doctor. I'm sure companies make sunglasses for petite women, but no one seems to stock them. Does anyone know of a brand and style that runs very small? I know there was a recent discussion on this topic but I didn't see a final outcome posted (Michelle?). I would like to order some online, but I don't want to have to keep sending them back because they are too big. I think a child's frame may work as well if the quality is not sacrificed. Oh, the woes of little people . . .

Thanks!

Kimberly

You might look at the Bolle Parole. They are listed as being for smaller/narrower faces. They also make a prescription adaptor for this model.

I've had good luck with this company, they were very helpful when I was choosing a set of riding glasses with prescription capabilities.

Spy has some models for women, along with the MicroScoop series, which tends to be pretty small. Their Meteor series is also small, though slightly larger than the MicroScoop. Rudy Project has some smaller models as well.

My girlfriend has the same problem and the Smith Toaster's are real comfortable for her. She loves them and they seem to be the only ones she loves after trying tons of them.

I have a the same problem and have found the Rudy Project Kerosene glasses. They're adjustable at the nose-pads and ear pieces -- great sunglasses! :) They have removable lenses so that you can change to the appropriate lense for the day's riding conditions. I use gray lenses on sunny days and amber ones on cloudy days or at dusk. Also, the lenses can be positioned so that there's a vent which prevents their fogging up. I bought the glasses at my lbs. I also _have_ to try this sort of thing on before I buy.

I tried the Smith Toasters at a local outfitter store and they did not fit me right. I hate it when my eyelashes hit the lenses when I blink. :(

checkout Rudy Project's Graal SX. These are very small compact glasses for smaller faces. But they look cool so you won't sacrifice fashion points.
