Hi,

My name is Bill. I live in the small city of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada about 1/2 hour from Niagara Falls. I moved here from Toronto about 3 years ago and decided to cycle for some exercise. I rushed out and bought a 21 speed bike with gadgets galore and even after replacing the seat with a large Raleigh one I still disliked the bike. Consequently I've ridden the "thing" maybe 6 times in 3 years. However I just bought an old 1 speed Firestone Pilot at a second hand store for $80.00 and love it. It needs a few adjustments but I'm sure I'll thoroughly enjoy it. I'll go on a different forum to try to find out some history etc. about the bike. This forum seems great and glad to be onboard.

Regards, Bill.

Hello Bill, what year is your Pilot? The folks at the Classic & Vintage forum will enjoy seeing photos, and with luck, someone may be able to help you with some information.

Welcome to BF!
