Recumbent - Midwest Recumbent Rally

Well, the annual midwest recumbent is only about a month away. For those of you that don't know, it's in Stevens Point, WI at the Hostel Shoppe. I was there for the first time last year and had a good time. You can find out more at www.hostelshoppe.com

I might just have to do it, just half a state away.

I really, really want to, but coming from Denver, it may not be possible due to $. We shall see.

It's kind of hard to describe, there were about 400 or so bent riders last year. There were organized rides all three days. There were seminars about bents, trikes, RAAM, Fast Freddie Markham gave a great talk about his record breaking speed run, and other talks. There were bents for testing and there was food available which wasn't too bad. And lots of talking among the bentists.

I've been the last three years, but will miss this year due to family commitments. It sounds like it's going to be a big year. Have a great time!

I was planning on going to it after seeing the EAA Oshkosh, but they scheduled it a week later (or Oshkosh fell a week sooner this year) so it would mean spending two weeks between the end of Oshkosh and the Recumbent Rally which would be a bit more time than I would have available. But we'll be there next year! Sounds like a good time!
