......Please don't bother showing up tommorrow, because it's a waste of time. Robbie could stop for a nap by the side of the road, and still win.
That is all.

Unless of course he broke his wrist and/or burned up some serious reserves today. He is an excellent sprinter but I doubt he will take Stage 2.

And I doubt that any other sprinter in the peloton this year will crash, go off the back, get time-trialled back to the Peloton with 7 kays to go, work his way past 150 riders at 50+ kph, and then win by 1.5 bike lengths.
Tomorrow is tomorrow, but today......that was one of the most insane stage wins I've seen in a decade.

AUSSIES, AUSSIES, WE'RE THE BEST!!!! (Well, we like to hope :) )
As did Cancellara in yesterday's prologue, McEwen looked like a man amongst children. incredible.

I don't. He may not win it but he'll certainly be right there with the top 3-4 guys at the end. He's explosive and half the time doesn't even need a train/lead-out. Of course, sometimes that hurts him like last year when he chose the wrong wheel one time and ended up being forced to go too early but in general he's not only one of the strongest but one of the smartest too.
I do predict a Boonen sprint win tomorrow...home pavement and all.

I wonder if Boonen's mad at Steegmans. ;) He was just supposed to lead him out, not take the whole thing! LOL.

According to Phil, he's now some kind of 'magical poker player'.

unlike evans he actually puts his nose in the wind (for 200 meters at least).
Ouch, that smarts...I don't know why you guys dislike Cadel Evans, is it because he displays the rare qualities such as humility and QUIET determination that you misunderstand as boring or uninteresting?

Humility and quiet determination. Are you sure he's really Australian? ;) :D
I like Cadel as a rider quite a bit. I like O'Grady better. Don't know why, though winning Paris-Roubaix probably has something to do with it. But Cadel is very cool.
Robbie, however, is the man.

which Evans are you referring to? certainly not Cadel "I've Got an Ass on my Chin" Evans, the greatest cyclist in the world, according to Cadel.
Now you're being racist, I mean sexist, I mean....... Ah just shuddup will ya, at least his whole head isn't a ....... like...... Oh never mind.
