Well my weekend group that I ride with can't ride during the week, and it does get a little boring at times out there all by myself, and I really would like someone to help push me and vice-a-versa. If anyone lives near Esco and wants to ride during the week (Usually M-W-F for the most part) hit me up and lets put some miles on our bikes. I'm looking for someone who wants to ride 25-40 miles during the week, maybe more depending on time restraints. Thanks in advance!

I'm in Esco but usually don't schedule rides, I just ride when I can and enjoy them. Most of my rides are either at lunch or after wotk 5pm+ with one weekend longer ride.

Well between school and work I have to have some type of schedule or else I'll never get anything accomplished.

Hey, I'd love to ride on a schedule, but with two young kids, wife, and the just plain, "I don't want to ride today"-syndrome...there's no way I could keep a schedule.
So, here's what I do...and it may work for you: Plan a ride for Saturday or Sunday that's above your level of fitness, and ride during the week as if you're training for that ride. I find 'not to be humiliated' to be a great motivator during my weekly rides.
ps: Where in Escondido are you? I may have a few good workout-type routes that you could try out.

I'm riding this afternoon around 4:30 or 5 if anyone wants to join me. Should be about 30 miles with less than 3000 feet of climbing. Going to leave from the liquor store off Old 395 after the Lawrence Welk golf course. I know its late notice but if you wanna come you are more than welcome!

give me some notice in the future and i'll be happy to ride out and meet you at 395/circle r area. there's a good loop that i do regularly which sounds like it's right up your alley. i'm anti-work right now, so morning or afternoonish - preferrably mornings, though.

Not a problem. I'm usually off work around 11 or so and I really don't mind the heat.

That sounds like fun. I can't bowl and drink. I find myself on other peoples lanes when I do :D

Be ready for ALOT of hills. The northern part of escondido is filled with them. I know most of the back roads because of motorcycling, but gained a whole new perspective of them once I picked up a road bike:eek:

The North County Cycle Club has a website they use for routes...it's maintained by a realtor/cyclist member, and it's how I 'discovered' many of the Northern Escondido routes, and 76 corridor roads that won't dead-end you somewhere you don't want to be.
Here it is. (http://www.fullcommitment.com/Nav.aspx/Page=/PageManager/Default.aspx/PageID=459665)

Ovo...it's too damn early in the morning to get all philosophicalicalical. What're you trying to say? I'm the tyrant? There's some other guy that's a tyrant? Her parents don't like her?
You're making my brain hurt. More coffee.
