Anyone else up for the Headwaters Century?

There's a 45 mile, 65 mile, and 100 mile version. Mr. East Hill and I are signed up for the 100 mile version--and we are looking forward to visiting Mud Mountain :) .

Im not sure if I am going to ride it this year. I belong to the Tacoma Wheelmen BC and if they need help I might get drafted into service. I didn't get to ride either of the clubs other two rides due to being out of state during the daffadil and then getting drafted to sag on the PMC. I really hope to get to ride it this year, and Mud Moutain is one you'll remember:eek:

I won't tell Mr. East Hill that you said that about Mud Mountain! I'm trying to convince him that he will do just fine. If you do get pressed into service, you'll have to let us know where you'll be so we can stop and say hi!
Do you know the route for the 100 mile? All I know is that it will go down to Flaming Geyser and back, and Mud Mountain and back. Not really much of a problem for those of us who are used to hills :p , but I think my husband would like to drive the course so he can reassure himself.

Dear Mr East Hill,
I was just joking around! I mean, if you know anything about the Tacoma Wheelmen rides, you know they only go down hill ;) You will do fine, would East Hill ever lead you astray?:D
But I let you know later on if I get to ride. I am looking for a century this fall but I don't know if that is a smart one to break the 100 mile mark on.
Last time I got drafted about a week before the ride, but I am usally easy to spot since I sag in either my 1966 Ford Pick up (looks like it just rolled of the showroom floor) or on my Motorcycle sidecar rig pulling a trailer for carrying bicycles if need be.
