Hmm...100% so for for 'Chug a beer after Ligget-isms'. Now the BIG question: Which beer is worthy?
Go to BevMo and buy one of each. You might just have enough. Or there's always Newcastle.

If you want to go non-alcoholic, you can always go to Galco's (http://www.sodapopstop.com/) and stock up on strange varieties of soda pop: Brain Wash Blue, Black Lemonade, Celery Soda, Goya Coconut Soda...

Joy......the Galco's on York we used to frequent every Sat morning for sandwiches after the Bicycle Doctor training ride during the 90's was a market/deli. Are these the same guys? Just curious.....they made one of the best cold cuts. :)

Yup! I used to stop by when I'd go eat at El Arco.

Yeah, these guys were really cool about letting us all bring our bikes into the store. We would usually have like a dozen bikes in there, order some deli goods, and pose for a couple of hours bs'ing. I still ride with most of these same guys....:D

I used to love El Arco. The smothered burritos and margaritas were the best. But I went recently since they remodeled and was not impressed. They've lost their flavor!

I don't know. Will you want to drink so much that frequent restroom breaks is a necessity? :p
I vote for looking at the dog cross-eye'd for a day, and achieve the next level of Zen'ness.

Dog licking is the underdog so to speak at #2, but it's gaining.
Where is the 'Numb the Boys' beer, Phil?
Sam Adams Triple Bock (http://www.mylifeisbeer.com/beer/bottles/bottledetail/71/) because it is easily 25% alcohol

Joy: Why, for cry eye, would I want to go NON-alcoholic? Obviously, you've never been kicked in the nads...which is what I'm going to be feeling like all day. I'm pretty sure the alcohol quotient will be elevated.
Phil: Damn skippy! That is a well thought out list you gave me. I especially like the Oatmeal Stout choice...very Hobbit-esque. I fear that after unconciousness sets in following the Stone Ruination, all further efforts to expand my beerical horizons will be foiled.
Dave: Don't be dissin' Order of the Phoenix. Yeah, HP was a whiny teenager, but...well...Luke Skywalker was a whiny prick in Ep's 4 and 5. (hand chopped off, hanging onto an antenna array) "No...It can't be...That's IMPOSSIBLE!!" "Search your feelings, you know it to be true." (in whiny girl voice) "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!"....I'm fairly certain that in the original George Lucas cut, while he's falling down through Cloud City, he's shouting, "I hate you! I hate you! I wish I was dead! WAAAHHHH!" - I guess that was left on the cutting room floor.
Dan: Since it looks like I'll be comatose watching a 4-man futile breakaway for roughly 8 total hours over 4 stages, I will probably take a voyeuristic canine auto-fellatio break once or twice. I don't think I'll have a choice in the matter.
Everybody else: If y'all lived closer, I'd invite you for chocolate chip pancake breakfast, followed by hot/sweet chicken wings for lunch, Uno's Deep Dish pizza for dinner...all lubricated by copious amounts of (insert Phil's Phavorite beer here)...but, alas, it seems everybody who replied lives too far to consider it. And I don't know how good of a host I'd be. 'Twould be pretty fun, though.

I thought that the funniest was the 1/3 of a Rolling Rock because of the famous '33' on the label (totaling 11 for the elevenses), and the Ruination is there because you think you are getting buzzed, and afterwards you know that you are!
Peaceful healing!

Kidding. All went well, but I'm still looking for the mule that le' punch'ed my coque.
It's a very peculiar feeling, this. I have found that 20 minutes with peas, followed by 30 minutes of recovery, 20 minutes of corn, and 30 minutes of recovery, is the perfect regimen. But, yeah, getting up to do anything feels like I was doinked by a football.
Thanks, all, for the well wishes. My appt was at 7:15 am, and I was done by 8:15, and out the door. (No, apparently I can't add at all, according to my countdown post yesterday...d'oh.)
The worst part was the needle. It was huge, and took all of my manly manitude not to flinch, cover up, or suckerpunch the doctor. After the numbification, all I felt were odd pulls, pokes, and 'maneuvers'. It didn't hurt, but was still annoying.
Also, there was a female nurse...which was weird...since I can probably count on one hand how many women have seen my junk that I wasn't either 'intimate' with or...y'know...flashing at some party. But there I was, taped and 'painted' with disinfectant, and she comes waltzing in with this huge spotlight.
For nesdog: Non-scalpel, open ended. No sperm granuloma for me, thanks.

And just think, you can now do it all you want and never have to worry again about nine months of a fetus growing in your uterus, kicking and scratching at your stomach from the inside and having your vagina stretched out and over a basketball with five people in the room watching this demanding that you push and breathe!
