View Full Version : Friday the 13...my NOTHING day

So, as it seems to be common knowledge due to my overwhelming need to tell you people everything, I basically have the entire day Friday off. I do a little thing in the morning, then I sit on the couch for the rest of the day. My wife is taking the kids to the Grandparents' house all day!
I need your advice. Answer the poll, then give me justifications.

Yeah...that's the thing...I can't go anywhere.

Just don't try to do that thing you usually do when no one's watching.:D

Tell Becks to go to your house.
Or watch the thing on TV.

Hmm...100% so for for 'Chug a beer after Ligget-isms'. Now the BIG question: Which beer is worthy?
Definitely watch the tour and drink. those other things sound pretty dorky to me. +1 on the dogs.

I put in a vote for LOTR because that option was getting lonely. You can make a beer drinking game of that also if you like. Just drink whenever a hobbit appears on screen.

Actually, I have drank (drunken...drinked) whenever I am made to feel inadequate by Legolas. I get hammered by the time they reach Moria.

Well if you can, there's you answer. Why are you even asking?

Oh. Oh. Hmmm. I don't know, but I think I'd just spend the morning drinking heavily if I was having the "snip-snip," but that's how I handle recovering from any surgical procedure. Not particularly creative, I realize, but it works in the numbing department. :D

+1 - I was watching the end, and there he was...I shouted, "How in the hell did he do that!" Boonen was left flat-footed, and it was friggen hilarious.
McEwen is my hero...well, for about 30 seconds yesterday. Awesome final sprint. Seeing the aerials of Cantebury Cathedral made me giddy....architecturally, historically, and artistically giddy.

Boonen had his hand on the trigger but was WAYYYYYYY to late!!!!
Hmm... my vote of TdF with beer seems extremely popular.

I'm more curious as to who voted for 'watch my dogs lick themselves'...I want to go for a ride with you people.
...if it's indeed going to be 'Beer and TdF Friday', then I'll need some solid rec's for Breakfast Beer, 2nd Breakfast Beer (LotR Homage), 'Elevenses' Beer, Brunch Beer, Lunch Beer, Afternoon Tea Beer, Just Because Beer, Linner Beer, Supper Beer, Dinner Beer, 'What goes good with Cookies and Cream Dreyers' Beer, 'Still have 2 hours to watch' Beer, 'Wife and Kids just got home' Beer, 'I'm starting to get buzzed' Beer, 'Yep, definitally grettin buzezed' Beer, 'Oh, sweet Lord, where's the toi...BAARRRFFF' Beer, and 'Boot and Rally' Beer.

Meh...sure they deserve it, but they never take advantage of it. They're attention hounds. Especially in the backyard, when they have to ..er..void yesterday's Scooby Snacks...right in the middle of my son's birthday party.
They look over at you as if to say, "Hey, check me out! Look what I'm doing!"

PBR should go well with the TdF and LOTR.

Alas, if PBR wasn't elephant urine with all the good flavors filtered out, I'd agree with you.
I'm thinking that a Stone variety pack is in order. Or maybe just get my 2L growler filled with Ruination, park it on my crotch, and drink with a bendy straw. Kill two birds (nut sore-ification, and brain sober-cancellation) with one Stone (hardehar.)

Wuss. In plumbing circles it's called a high pressure test. Don't you trust your doctor's work? BTW did he pull a permit for this job?
Mo'Phat

The Doc's last name is Nazareth...he was issued his permit by Jesus, and it's guaranteed by God.
